(wounded puppy dog eyes) And, hey, even with seminary next door, I don't think regular school in Utah (at least not SLC) is QUITE the same equivalent as being taught by nuns! (I'm just saying I hope we aren't running our public schools like private religious schools - that would be most inappropriate!) Seriously, it doesn't surprise me - that's why a lot of Mormons raised outside of Utah seem to have the strongest testimonies - they had to find strength from within in the absence of much support from without. The secret to being devil's advocate witout getting embroiled in uncomfortable confrontation is saying everything in such a jovial, joking way that nobody can tell if you're serious or not - that, or station yourself close to a stairway or exit sign!
