Um...I was sorely tempted to unstop a whole big barrel of worms by discussing my personal discomfort, guilt, conflicted feelings about, lack of understanding of, etc., the whole patriarchal system of power and authority which is perpetuated in my church, and how it does not recognize/allow for variations in personality and individual strengths/weakness within members of each sex, thus revealing what a touchy-feely new-age humanist wishy-washy wuss I am (if I haven't already made that clear)...but I thought better of it, and...(smiles nervously, slowly backs away from the Noodles, fumbles blindly for the door handle);)
