AMEN, Sistah! Or it may be fair to say that many (if not most) people, having had limited personal experience with members of any religion, race, cultural group, etc., tend to generalize and ascribe whatever characteristics they notice to the larger group as a whole. Unfortunately there are some very noisy, splashy, attention-grabbing "religious" people out there that I wouldn't want representing me or my feelings about religion!
