It occurs to me, re-reading my last post, that rather than sounding like I'm comiserating and expressing genuine empathy, I'm coming across as engaging in attention-grabbing one-upsmanship (you think YOU had it bad?? Lemme tell you what I suffered through...!) which is impolite at best, and entirely inappropriate, seeing as this isn't MY 'blog, and I have no idea what a crummy time Tealin may have had in school, or what it's like to be a girl, popular or otherwise, in general. What I should have said was that "pretty" girls (at least what most people consider pretty - particularly vacuous, snooty ones) ARE boring to draw (to me), and even less fun to spend any time around in person, particularly since I suffered some amount of cruelty at their hands growing up. (if I'm smart, I'll erase that last post before anybody reads it...)
