Now that it's started to cool down and get wet, I predict I'll be seeing a lot more of these girls popping up (like mushrooms!) ... Look at the weather forecast, dunderheads! Sheesh!

You were never an oddball girl in high school.
You make it sound like there's a terrible memory or two involving the cruelty of teenagers that still haunts you...that makes me angry. For what it's worth, I know what it's like to have been the butt of a lot of jokes, having grown up as an oddball boy myself (maybe I didn't suffer as much emotionally - though I got about as much of that as I could handle - or more - as a wimpy, oversensitive boy, but I probably got physically beat up more than most girls would - at least I hope so. Ah, happy childhood days...)
