I second what wizardelfgirl said; it wasn't the Maya who were into grandiose bloody sacrifice. That was the Aztecs. The Incas practised human sacrifice, but I think they did it by burying alive rather than, y'know, ripping stuff out. I could be wrong.

Either way, I don't want to see the film.
