Silas is just similar enough to my default face design that it was too easy to be lazy on him ... I've made his cheeks too gaunt here. But the specs and nightcap are true! I haven't researched Silas much (yet) but my impression of him is that he was a bit of a loon.* Titus was easier as I am familiar with his face because of this:

Hmm? Hmmmm? Tell me I'm not hallucinating ... the eye/brow area is especially similar, and the nose might be as well if you take into account the angle at which it is shot.

Travis Oates is, by the way, the voice of Piglet. The layers of amusement here are enormous.

*First of all, he was a physicist, which seems to come with a certain degree of eccentricity by default. Second, he retired to Saltspring Island, in the '60s no less. BC's Gulf Islands have a reputation for attracting those with a slightly different relationship to reality than most ...
