Take one down, try to live through it but it still feels like a really long tiiiime
21 days to Thud! on the wall!

*Because, see, the calendar (upon which days are catalogued) is on the wall – ahaaaaaa, I am not quite as mad as I appear!

Mort was good and so was The Hogfather. My first book was The Last Continent.
On the flip side, Equal Rites wasn't very good at all.

Equal Rites was one of the early ones where he hadn't really found his feet yet. There are ideas (and characters, for that matter) in it that are fairly interesting, but are developed much more successfully in later books.

My first was Interesting Times, which boggled me at first with an onslaught of characters and places that I felt I should have known more about (Dibbler? Ank-Morpork? Sausages? Eh?), but before long it settled into the main plot and, though a 'sequel', was well-explained for those who'd missed the previous episodes and enjoyable enough to hook me. After that I read Feet of Clay which really got me into it.
