WOW FUN

Hey there boys and girls! It's time for yesterday's sketchbook! Isn't that exciting??!

(It's trying to remember the thumbnail of Blouse accepting a bowl of scubbo I'd doodled in my other life drawing pad. And a bus person. I went to life drawing so this paltry page of scribbles is OK.)

The storyboards have driven her MAD!!

And a bus person

Lol, I just had to italicize that since I take the bus a lot and doodle people on the bus and it's funny case it makes them sound like a whole different species when you call them that.

THE BUS PEOPLE... yesterday I saw a bus person. Creepy.

Is that a Moulin Rouge reference, or have I just watched Zidler say that line waaaaay too many times? ("Jealousy has driven him MAD!")

Ohhh yes it is. Yes it is.

Oh, good lords and ladies, storyboards can drive anyone mad. Might I suggest you stick your thumb on your nose and blow a rasberry at it. It won't do anything, but You'll feel better.
*Proffers a comfy pillow, a warm cozy tea, a lounge and several episodes of her personal favorite unwinding tactic, Mushishi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mushishi)* Don't make me put Pol- I mean, Oliver, on watch duty to make sure you don't hurt yourself. She's got her hands ful with Mal- they've run out of coffee again.

I JUST BOUGHT COFFEE YESTERDAY! :D

Man, I would love to be guarded by a fictional character. That would be awesome. Even an obnoxious one ... I'd just grin at them and say stuff like 'Dude, you're fictional!' That would rule.

(this post appears to have been brought to you by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)

Speaking of which, I've heard Donatello is free for guard duty...

One of my characters is a Fiction Traveller. She goes to parallel worlds where fictional people really exist. One of her adventures resulted in Harry Potter getting hit with a frying pan.

I don't suppose you've read any Jasper Fforde...?

[identity profile] azvolrien.livejournal.com 2006-03-26 03:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Never even heard of him. Does it involve people getting hit with frying pans?

[identity profile] twirlynoodle.livejournal.com 2006-03-26 07:25 pm (UTC)(link)
No, he writes books about a 'fictioneer' who travels through fiction ... Argh, I used to know a great site for introduction, but look up Thursday Next or Jasper Fforde and you'll be on your way. Very good books. Start with The Eyre Affair.

That sounds pretty cool!

[identity profile] azvolrien.livejournal.com 2006-03-27 06:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Ooh, cool. Will look him up.

"Paltry", my foot! It actually IS exciting, to me.

I spy ... 6 exclamation points altogether in this post! The storyboards really ARE driving you mad.

This comment reminded me of my friends reaction when I made a joke about her seeing a shrink.

"Do you mean it??? Do I need to see a shrink??? Do you mean it??? Do I need to see a shrink??? Do you mean it do you mean it doyoumeanit???

"Hehe, no... I'm joking. Nothing wrong with you. Now, stop clinging to my arm..."

(wicked giggling rising to evil maniacal laughter)

HEE HEE (don't get me started again!) - YES! Or how about a parade of office implements, half-eaten foodstuffs, and bad doodles marching across my desk, like the refreshments in those old movie theater commercials...?
Let's all talk to the ar-tist
Let's all sing for the ar-tist
Let's all dance with the ar-tist
He stayed up way too late!

[identity profile] twirlynoodle.livejournal.com 2006-03-24 02:55 pm (UTC)(link)
If you draw that, I am SO putting it on my desk.

So ... no pressure. |: )

Just for the record... bus people are a species.
