A Genius of Justice

I THINK:
Should Saddam Hussein be found guilty of any or all of his offences, I say forget capital punishment or imprisonment at some UN institution or using him for medical research or whatever the authorities may come up with. He should be imprisoned in a plexiglass box in Burbank where animators and cartoonists can go draw him 24 hours a day. That man has the most animated expressions I have ever seen. Why waste such a wonderful resource? Surely this is no less a punishment than a quick and painless death or mouldering in a dungeon, and all those vengeful eye-for-an-eye people can find satisfaction in the abuse of his human rights. Everybody wins!

...And every day, he shall don a different costume pertaining to a subject of immense humilliation! All for inspirationally comedic purposes, of course!

[identity profile] canisdoofus.livejournal.com 2006-04-05 06:23 pm (UTC)(link)
AYE! With the pink pantyhoses! :D And that funny little hat!

Or how about one of the Von Trapp kids in those uniforms playclothes made out of curtainfabric?

Teehee, and little blonde pigtails.

[identity profile] canisdoofus.livejournal.com 2006-04-05 06:30 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL! That or Mario (the Video Game-dude). Mario's almost too easy!

I say that instead of plexiglass, he should be surrounded by two-way mirrors, so other people can look at him, but all he has to look at is himself.

[identity profile] twirlynoodle.livejournal.com 2006-04-05 06:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmm, this is a good point ... maybe those kind of two-way mirrors that you can turn on and off, so sometimes it would be solitary confinement and sometimes he'd have to suffer the indignity of watching, say, a high school class drawing him and joking around. And of course so he could see the drawings people were doing.

That is the most brilliant idea ever.

[identity profile] verselus.livejournal.com 2006-04-05 06:50 pm (UTC)(link)
You know you would want to dress him up in bunny ears...it would just be too tempting.

For the love of God, somebody metaqoute this!

[identity profile] jesskat.livejournal.com 2006-04-05 10:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Done. (http://community.livejournal.com/metaquotes/4928572.html) ;)
Hope you don't mind, it's only for the sharing of the funny. See [livejournal.com profile] metaquotes for more info.

You are brilliant! XD

If . . .

[identity profile] noodledaddy.livejournal.com 2006-04-05 08:47 pm (UTC)(link)
. . . you can get The Human Rights Campaign, the U.N., Amnesty International, The ACLU, A.N.S.W.E.R, The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Anybody, CAIR, and any number of other groups to agree to it, I'm all for it. I'd want a couple of costumes:
1) A bonnet and a diaper with a rattle in one hand
2) Any kind of clothing reminiscent of mid to late 30's European attire with a yellow Star of David sewn onto it.

A2

Best idea since "A Modest Proposal". :D

[identity profile] twirlynoodle.livejournal.com 2006-04-05 09:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Now THAT is PRAISE. I am not worthy. Really.

[identity profile] azvolrien.livejournal.com 2006-04-05 09:42 pm (UTC)(link)
That is a FANTASTIC idea. I mean, it'd be like those people who were having a barbecue underneath David Blaine's box in London. You know the box I'm talking about, right?

[identity profile] twirlynoodle.livejournal.com 2006-04-05 09:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Heehee, yes, they never stopped talking about it on the News Quiz. :) Endless comic fodder.

[identity profile] azvolrien.livejournal.com 2006-04-06 10:17 am (UTC)(link)
I found a David E. Blain on our school war memorial. I also found a Quibell Pridmore.

[identity profile] disneyboy.livejournal.com 2006-04-08 04:15 am (UTC)(link)
I guess I should just look up David Blaine myself, huh? (it stinks to be a clueless American)

[identity profile] disneyboy.livejournal.com 2006-04-09 05:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Ok, I remember hearing about him now - dude, he's crazy! And how did he go to the bathroom up there? Or did he just clench the whole time? Eeeek!

[identity profile] tonks244.livejournal.com 2006-04-05 10:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Fantastic idea!

[identity profile] marcyleecorgan.livejournal.com 2006-04-06 01:57 am (UTC)(link)
you are absolutely amazing. :D

[identity profile] thefordmustang.livejournal.com 2006-04-06 03:46 pm (UTC)(link)
These are all such brilliant suggestions- I really cannot add anything to top them. I enjoyed reading them all!

[identity profile] okiwan.livejournal.com 2006-04-06 06:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Therefore, you ARE:
Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! Genius, I say!

[identity profile] lady-werewolf.livejournal.com 2006-04-07 11:16 am (UTC)(link)
*Gapes* Wow. Hee hee. Cool.

I can do no more than to add AMEN to all that has been said here - you are a certified evil genius!
