I'd like to start out by raising a rousing HUZZAH! to the wonderful people at Livejournal, who managed to resuscitate this enormous network after an unexpected power failure ... I can't believe it's up after only 24 hours. On a Friday night, no less. Kudos to you, should you ever read this...
In other news:

Jacques contemplates the nature of evil.

It's raining.
RAINING! Yay!!
Of course, that means tomorrow will be slushy and not good for driving, but ... RAIN! I can take my umbrella to work! I won't have to wear sunglasses at lunchtime! Hey, the rhododendron outside the library has little icicles on it... Freezing rain! Cool!
(I'm allowed to say that because I don't drive)

What's awesome is, your rendition of Jaques is almost EXACTLY how I always pictured him. The long face and nose, and how he makes that unibrow look so elegant. ...And I like the fact that he's wearing gloves, just like his sister does :-D

It is a good thing he does not wear glasses. Otherwise... whoof.
What is WITH him?? Why is he so COOL?

So you dig glasses? *sniggle-hee*
Hmm.... I think part of why he's so alluring is the fact that he... well... his scene is kind of... cut short (I'm trying to avoid spoilers.) The cut-shortedness of it leaves you kind of... hungry for more, maybe?
And there's always that "picture" of him in the Unauthorized Autobiography... he looks quite handsome there.

I can't wait for the next one to come out.. it's soon, isn't it? I heard about it somewhere.
I like being 18 and loving 'children's' books. =]
