Actually, er ... it says 'ROCKS' ... that was as close as I could zoom in with the camera, alas. It happened when someone, untold years ago, decided to stick a sign way out in the water that said 'ROCKS.' Beyond that ..? Chance?
'Books' would, indeed, have been most awesome... but far more unlikely. I suppose I could doctor it, but that'd kinda be cheating, or at least it would detract from the weirdness of the real thing.
Reminds me of the fun I had developing B&W film taken with my mom's 35mm camera for a college photography class- only these have a lot more style and atmosphere!
My brother likes to take funny photos, but these are way better than his (sorry, bro). Although I feel weird comparing them, because they're sort of a different...genre, I guess you could say. And my brother hasn't read the Snicket books; I can't remember if he's even seen the movie.
I like to take pictures, but I never have anything interesting to take pictures of.
Also, I am envious of your photo-taking skills. *simmers in envy*
Envy not: I used to have HORRIBLE photography skills. These are just the result of millions and millions of wasted megapixels, snapping hundreds of not very good photos and gradually getting a feel for things. Thank goodness for digital cameras and the unlimited number of photos you can take for no money at all (after the price of the camera of course).

I want that picture on a mural in my house. Seriously.

Well, that is to say ... only Lemony has an 'Unauthorized Autobiography' full of weird photos. (alas...)

*gah why hasn't my copy of 'The End' arrived yet!?*
I am so saving this entry under memories!

But I like these and they are very Snickety.
Did you read The End yet?
I loved it.
