The Prestige [Prologue]

I no longer need to see Christian Bale play Jacques Snicket, because he already has.

Kinda.

So did you like the movie?

[identity profile] disneyboy.livejournal.com 2006-11-06 05:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Awwww...c'mon! That's all you're going to say about it?? How unfairly tantalizing! It's not like you have, like, an important job with a lot of work to do or a life or anything to keep you from spending hours telling us all about everything you see and do! What kind of a lousy 'blogger ARE you, anyway? (grumbles and buys his OWN *&%$##@ ticket to "The Prestige") :)

I'll say more about it when I'm not occupied by life drawing or scanning a rotation. (That's why that was just the prologue.)

Well, ok...I suppose I should cut you a little slack...for now...
(you know I am totallykidding, right? Like I have any business criticizing anyone else, least of all you, for neglecting thier 'blog or holding out on their readers! King of the Hypocrites am I!)

I like Christian Bale. One of my characters came into existence because of a mildly amusing coincidence.

This is begging an explanation. ...?

Crowman!
He was invented because Christian Bale played Batman in Batman Begins, and voiced Howl in the English dub of Howl's Moving Castle and in the film Howl turns into a weird... crow-thing.
Crowman, however, doesn't look anything like Christian Bale. According to his sister he's actually the spitting image of David Tennant.

HE VOICED HOWLE

O.O

How could I have not known that?! D8

What in my opinion makes it even funnier is that Christian Bale is actually Welsh. If you've read the book, you will know why I think that's funny.

I WISH THEY'D KEPT THAT IN THE MOVIE! That was my favourite part. Arrr. It made the whole rest of the story better.

I still think Bale should have used his real accent for that particular role.

Crow...man?

SWEET!

I love crows.

He's mostly comic relief.

elaborate?
