We didn't go to Dublin – my parents were full of stories about how grossly expensive Dublin was last time they went; I'm assuming the countryside is much more reasonable. Much less expensive than London! It was pretty chilly when we were there too, after what was an apparently hot and dry May, but you know that because it's been the same in England.
