Finally!
Please forgive me for being so tardy with this; I've been catching up with real live people IN PERSON this week. Madness! These were going to go up early early this morning but I was out watching meteors and then someone was kind enough to spray pepper spray somewhere in my building, so it was 3am by the time we were allowed back in, and that meant bed.
So, at long last, have a medium-sized image dump!

You are my little lads, and I will look after you. The Slug Club, with attendees taken from both the Hogwarts Express and Christmas incarnations of the organization. Another drawing, another Hermione design, and Blaise looks a bit like the saucié in Ratatouille but we'll pretend not to notice that ... This started out as a gag sketch but really it's all in the caption so I didn't bother changing Slughorn's design. Yes, that moustache is just part of the clever disguise...

Assuming it's one of those not-actually-canon things that I was so sure about, like Snape's beard or his hair being slicked back or who knows what else, I was trying to think where I got the idea of Moody's eye being so fantastically huge, and came up with a theory: There was a Prairie Home Companion in June of 1996 which I recorded and listened to many times which had, in the News From Lake Wobegon, a story about a man who accidentally killed his father at a softball game by hitting the softball right at his eye. He fled from town but returned quite a few years later and anonymously left on his father's grave a paper bag containing a softball painted as a bright, staring blue eye. Moody's eye isn't quite softball-sized but I'm sure that story wormed its way far enough into my subconscious that when a description was thrown up calling for a large staring blue eye, that softball was ready it take its place.
He's doing the Andreas Eye, here, for which he is perfectly suited in physique and character. It seems like most of Andreas Deja's characters lean forward and stare with one googly eye at least once in their respective movies, hence the name for the signature move.

What's a better way to start a summer's day than with MOODY AT THE BEACH? I don't know what possessed me to draw this, but ... well, the deed is done. Apologies for any scarring it might have caused. [EDIT: Forgot his wooden leg. DUH. See the second comment for feeble excuses. I'm losing it...]

There was one day (a Tuesday, I believe) on which Pasadena was beset with helicopters – army helicopters, of two different varieties. I deduced later in the day, after they took a break for lunch and left by 5, that they were probably related to some filming or other because that seemed rather soft for war games, but in the morning when I was waiting to be let into work, it was an oddly disquieting thing. I was sitting drawing opposite the door to the studio, which was still locked at that point, and made a good alcove for potentially hiding from sinister helicopters should one need to do so ... somehow Lily and James dropped into the scenario, so I guess they're ... um ... on some sort of Aurors' mission gone bad? Anyway, I'm terrible at drawing beautiful women so I tried using my sister's Lily model, but somehow when I tried drawing it it lost that special flavour. Much work do be done in that department.
~ DEATHLY HALLOWS CHAPTER 33 ~

A thumbnail for Snape's breakdown in Dumbledore's office ... I love the intensity from an otherwise reserved character and how it's completely one-sided. This may become an actual illustration someday but I like the energy of the thumbnail.

Young Snape, with his funny smock thing. I had this design in mind when I redesigned adult Snape; I hope they look like the same person.

Late teenage Snape, unfortunately drawn across the gutter of my sketchbook...
DH spoiler factor of 5 (moderate)
