P.S. If the object of your protest is something with obscure initials, it is generally advisable to advertise what they stand for so the people annoyed at you will at least know why their lives have been disrupted.

Yeah, we know that now, after looking it up ... there were no clues on any of the signs I saw, which looked pretty multi-purpose. I know I've seen that 'No One Is Illegal' sign around town before, and then there was something about women's rights as well?

I think Ive seen them protesting around Broadway station before, they had a huge noose set up on some platform.

You're lucky you don't live in Mexico right now. We get those blockings at least 2 times a day. I sometimes wonder if they really think they will be heard and get sympathy from us, or they just like to do it for the heck of it.

Whereabouts was this? I was in Ottawa last Sunday, and just missed the big protest on the Hill. All I got to see were vague catchphrases drawn in sidewalk chalk. I got more info out of the Xpress, and that hasn't happened to me in roughly 5 years.

Wow, exciting lives! I live in fairly small town outside of Ottawa, A large millitary base, but nothing exciting ever happens here... Then again, when something dose happen it's HUGE!

Grrr the rest of my post didn't take! Ah well.. As I was saying, small borring town... The most exciting thing to happen around here was about 6 months ago, smeone a few houses behind me was murderd by her husband after a fight in there driveway, she was discoverd by the paper kid the next morning.. What a traumatizing way to start one's day..

I must also agree with you, It dose get quite annoying when protestors block the roadway. It is nice to know what there complaining about, random letters only drive me more mad when im trying to get were im going. I don't mind so much when like you said, we know what there disrupting us with...
