Dear Mr. Biden,

I understand you're nervous and you want to be emphatic, but please stop saying 'literally' so much.

Thanks,

A Concerned Citizen

Dear Mr. Biden . . .

Please keep talking as much as you please, with or without saying "literally."

Joe Biden literally said literally at least six times. Literally.

At least, most of the time, he could be taken literally ... but he wants us to turn the world literally in a different direction? And the crowd chanted 'Yes we can'? Oh you can, can you? Did anyone else think of that Superman movie?

I wish more people knew what 'literally' meant. I saw a thing on Fandom Secrets the other day which said something like 'I literally died on reading this' and all I could think was 'Then how are you typing?'

Anyone who's read Lemony Snicket should know to avoid abuse of the word 'literally.' That and the rule of it's/its. Clearly the world is behind on its satirical children's literature.

A'course, my mum being an ex-English teacher probably has something to do with it as well. Do not get her started on misplaced apostrophes.
