Ron, John, the other John, Andreas, Bruce, and Mike say:

Hooray for Hand-Drawn Animation!

Featuring Andreas' Happy Dance and special guest appearances by some fresh-faced rookies!

Very nice, but YIKES, what about the color balance on John Lasseter's shot?

Loved Andreas' happy dance.

I offer two hypotheses:

1. JL's powerful aura of awesomeness throws off the camera's sensors

2. It is very challenging to colour balance a tomato in a bright green Hawaiian shirt

Oh my god I nearly snorted out the rice I was eating with option #2.

That was awesome! Very... heartwarming, actually. I got little tearsies in the corners of my eyes. It makes me so happy. I've missed hand-drawn animation so much. This movie means so very, very much to me.

You know, this is one of the (many) reasons I'm so excited about this movie: the hype-up. It reminds me of the good old days when I was a kid and Disney would only bring out one film per year, and they would give you these sneak peeks and tidbits here and there where they would tell you how excited they all were and how great it was going to be, and that made it feel really special. To have all the animators and directors come on and tell you how much faith they have in this project and how you should be excited, too. I don't remember them really doing that since, what, Fantasia 2000?

I do find it amusing how they're all rejoicing over the triumphant "return of traditional animation!" while completely ignoring all the cheap, traditionally animated direct-to-DVD sequels the company has been pumping out in overseas studios.;p Even these people seem to want to pretend those don't exist.

It makes me so happy to see them so enthusiastic about the film!

You know, the great thing is, they really are that enthusiastic.

Wow. I'm really excited! It's so inspiring to see how pumped everyone is/is getting for this most triumphant return!
