I think what I like most about The Eyes of Nye is that its central theme runs something like: "Think and act responsibly, you hedonistic monkeys!"

Ahh yeah, that feels good. (No irony intended, but it works, so it stays.)

It would feel better if I didn't know that various individuals have cried the same thing from various mountaintops and in various contexts since the dawn of time, and one charismatic and humourous gangly guy in a lab coat on PBS probably won't make much of a dent either.
[sigh]

Every time history repeats itself, the price goes up.

...And a quick glance at the website proves that the show is not airing on the local PBS. Curse you, KLRU Austin!

I'm so giddy! I had no idea he was coming back! Ooooh, this is the best thing EVER. I have extremely fond memories of watching that show back when I was a wee lass. So ... happy!
