Giamatti to voice Amazing Screw-On Head
Sci Fi Wire reports that Paul Giamatti will be among the actors to voice the half hour animated series Amazing Screw-On Head. Based on Mike Mignola's comic book, the series is set in the Civil War era and narrates the adventures of a robot secret agent at the service of Abraham Lincoln. David Hyde Pierce and Molly Shannon are also part of the cast: Pierce will lend his voice to Emperor Zombie, Screw-On head arch-enemy, while Shannon is Patience, a vampire girl. Other voice actors include Patton Oswalt and Mindy Sterling. Amazing Screw-On Head will debut in 2006 on the Sci Fi Channel.

I love the comic book ... the voice cast looks pretty good ... pleeeeease let them do it right.

I've read some Mike Mignola comic-books, but haven't seen this one yet ( Maybe it's not published here :P ) But if they're doing an animated cartoon out of this, I'm surely watching it! :)

It's kind of rare... it's just the one book and they didn't print all that many of them. They turn up on Ebay every once in a while, which is how I got mine.
