Free Comic Book Day!
For several years now, there's been a worldwide comics festival the first Saturday in May, where a collection of small comic books are available for free, to encourage you to visit your local comics shop. I have adopted it as my big self-promotion day and put out some new section of my book for people to download free, and unlock a bunch of posts on Patreon to get them to visit.
Well, comics shops are closed now, and I have heard no rumblings about Free Comic Book Day on social media, but I'm doing it all the same. My Patreon page has a load of public posts, including a shiny new video, and I've unlocked the first 40 pages of the work-in-progress graphic novel. So, if you aren't already a subscriber there, please check it out! It's been a very interesting year with a lot going on, but this project has been the main focus of it all and all the craziness is in support of it. Of course I see all its imperfections, but regardless, I am still pretty proud of it so far.
