Thursday's Sketchbook - This is what yesterday's character is supposed to look like.

Watched War of the Worlds last night ... Most of it went like this:

ME: But dude, what about _____?
SPIELBERG: Hey, man, I have totally got that covered.

I would have liked to know more about the blood root things, which as far as I could tell were creepy but pointless. And ... were the tripod thingies alive, or machines? 'Cause if they were machines, how would they be affected by pathogens? Also: crows rule.

I have an alien phobia (even those 'documentaries' on the Discovery Channel creep me out) but this movie didn't get to me at all... Signs is still the best ever.

Oh, I love Signs. Of course, I was raised on Star Trek and Star Wars and am, therefore, a total geek for most alien movies. Except for the actual Alien movies, which I refuse to watch.
