Things I have learned today:

1. I like Artemis Fowl much, much better when read aloud.
2. I absolutely cannot draw Otto Chriek in any way whatsoever at all.
3. Now that the movies are getting into the Potter books I don't like as much, the movies look like they're getting better. [sigh]

You can draw Otto Chriek in a way that you do not like. Thus, you CAN draw him in at least one way.

But he doens't look like Otto Chriek, so ... it's not Otto Chriek. It's some weird random character who butts in front of Otto in the queue to get out of my pencil.

Those death eaters look like the Klan. For serious.
Was anyone else bothered that in the second movie the scene went "School, Whomping Willow, flat yard, slight incline down to Hagrid's Hut, forest" and in the third movie it somehow went to "School, random bridge across a loch, Whomping Willow, very steep and rocky incline down to Hagrid's Hut, forest" ???

I'm sure the Death Eaters' resemblance to the Klan is not at all a coincidence.

Personally, I was too relieved the third movie actually being interesting to mind the change in topography. The bridge was weird, though; it didn't serve any purpose, looked like it was going to fall down in a light breeze, and seemed a waste of rendering time.

Well yes the Death Eater's are very simliar to the Klan, but do they really have to LOOK like the clan as well? It's OVERsymbolism. Like the names "Remus Lupin." That reeks of werewolf.
Oh and that werewolf looked like a hairless ape. The werewolf in Thriller looked more like a real werewolf than that thing did. They'd have been better off just using a real live trained wolf. That's what werewolves look like right? Just a bigger kind of wolf with a wierd tail.
But anyway, after the 3rd movie I vowed not to watch another one. I'm not reading the 7th book either. I won't be able to take it if Snape dies.

1. Does the reader do, like, those special voices? I think it's best when a man does the voices for everyone because then I can giggle when he does a little girl's. (Although I'll give you that they can be scarily good at it sometimes.)

3. Dude, you saw the new trailer too? IT IS CRAZY CGIed! So much eyecandy, but whether it lives up to the pretty has yet to be seen.

I've heard a snippet of the Artemis Fowl audio book on Eoin Colfer's website...hmmm...dunno. I prefer reading it than me trying to do Irish accents! XD Was there an interesting story behind this life lesson? Who was reading it? Why is it better? Was it pants before? etc ^_^

Gosh, I know what you mean about GoF. The first full length trailer just made me excited, and I was annoyed because even though it looks really swish and exciting, and has the graveyard scene, it also has THAT Mad Eye Moody, and will probably suck anyway. GoF is my second least fav book anyway.

Chamber of Secrets. I dunno why. I'm probably judging it too harshly, but I on't like it when people get the blame for something they didn't do ^_^ It was mysterious though.

That coalface Sirius thing was the scariest thing ever! Looked like his face was melting :D
