Things I have learned today:

1. I like Artemis Fowl much, much better when read aloud.
2. I absolutely cannot draw Otto Chriek in any way whatsoever at all.
3. Now that the movies are getting into the Potter books I don't like as much, the movies look like they're getting better. [sigh]

Those death eaters look like the Klan. For serious.
Was anyone else bothered that in the second movie the scene went "School, Whomping Willow, flat yard, slight incline down to Hagrid's Hut, forest" and in the third movie it somehow went to "School, random bridge across a loch, Whomping Willow, very steep and rocky incline down to Hagrid's Hut, forest" ???

I'm sure the Death Eaters' resemblance to the Klan is not at all a coincidence.

Personally, I was too relieved the third movie actually being interesting to mind the change in topography. The bridge was weird, though; it didn't serve any purpose, looked like it was going to fall down in a light breeze, and seemed a waste of rendering time.

Well yes the Death Eater's are very simliar to the Klan, but do they really have to LOOK like the clan as well? It's OVERsymbolism. Like the names "Remus Lupin." That reeks of werewolf.
Oh and that werewolf looked like a hairless ape. The werewolf in Thriller looked more like a real werewolf than that thing did. They'd have been better off just using a real live trained wolf. That's what werewolves look like right? Just a bigger kind of wolf with a wierd tail.
But anyway, after the 3rd movie I vowed not to watch another one. I'm not reading the 7th book either. I won't be able to take it if Snape dies.
