Makeover!

Well, the new site format seems to be pretty unanimously popular ... maybe I'll switch the whole thing over eventually because being able to create a 50-image section of my site in one evening is just too good to pass up. Thanks for the feedback, you guys! Please don't hold back any criticism!

A Vision of the Future

Behold! I am working on my website!

Terra Extra Harry Potter - Index

Once again challenging the status quo of web design with my unique philosophy of Centre-It-Down-The-Middle.

None of the links work, yet, by the way.

Good gracious sakes alive, the more I poke around, the more I love Dreamweaver – and the more I see has to be done to this poor website.

12:32 am
The Discworld page is up!

Gee ... I drood a lotta pitchers.

Why is it always so much easier to work on my webpage in the wee hours of the morning? I could stay up all night! I won't, but ... I could.

The Grindstone

With the [supposed] completion of work, I'm embarking on a bit of belated spring cleaning on my site. Updating email links, sorting the old "new" pictures onto the pages where they belong, and maybe eventually setting up categories for my Terra Extra Harry Potter stuff.

Yay, exciting.

12:04 pm
In revisiting my webpage, I thought I'd take the Hogwarts Sorting Test again...
Ravenclaw: 89
Hufflepuff: 83
Gryffindor: 56
Slytherin: 21

My Slytherin score used to be 19 – help! I'm slipping!

Your results?

2:51 pm
I had an idea:
For the pages sorted by character, would anyone seriously (or Siriusly, haha) kill me if I got rid of the whole table layout thing and just had a list of links to drawings that feature whatever character you're looking for? It would be so much easier to update and maintain, and would be much more throrough without having to take up so much space. The book-sorted pages would stay the same, with the drawings all laid out with captions, it's just the character-sorted ones that would change.

3:16 pm
I've made some updates to the Updates/In Progress section on the art index page of my site (the "website" link at the top of this page will take you there) detailing plans and also links to an area of my site that has kind of been cut off by development.

I have just finished catching up on email (so much for that resolution) ... if I haven't replied to your email, it must have slipped through the cracks somehow. Or perhaps you are using Hotmail, which I've noticed does not like to play with the other email providers much. In any case, if you're desperate for a reply and haven't gotten one yet, please notify me .. the address is up top there, in my little profile box at the top of the page. Ain't it lovely. Shiny and new. I've been answering old Lycos letters from Gmail, which is about 6.2% responsible for the delays (the other 93.8% being me and my lazy bum) so ... I forget where I was going with this.

Lately, I noticed, I've been getting a lot less mail than usual. Is site traffic going down? Is my FAQ page too efficient? Is everyone just really busy with school compared to my clearest memories of email inundation which usually occur in the summer?

Hopelessly Anglophiliac

Ubiquitouspitt has spoiled me with Schama. I fear I may never watch regular television again.

7:18 PM
I've updated my FAQ page, more as an experiment in aesthetics than any major content change. But now, upon it, you can find the answer to the question that has been plaguing mankind for centuries (at least according to the email I've been getting): Am I going to do an "Azkaban Project" type thing for the other HP books? Also, there is an almost entirely pointless graph.

Hmm, upon rereading, there are a few more textual things to change. [sigh]
