Behold! I am working on my website!

Terra Extra Harry Potter - Index

Once again challenging the status quo of web design with my unique philosophy of Centre-It-Down-The-Middle.

None of the links work, yet, by the way.

Good gracious sakes alive, the more I poke around, the more I love Dreamweaver – and the more I see has to be done to this poor website.

12:32 am
The Discworld page is up!

Gee ... I drood a lotta pitchers.

Why is it always so much easier to work on my webpage in the wee hours of the morning? I could stay up all night! I won't, but ... I could.

Oh! I'm so excited for you to get the links working. It much nicer organized like that. You've got some nice fonts, by the way.

Thank you. I pride myself on my font collection. [smug] Though, so far, I've only used about 20% of them. You never know when you'll need that one special font you found two years ago...

As a graphic design student fonts are both my damnation and my redemption. That said, you can NEVER have too many.

Gwuh! So many lovely DW drawings!

I love that last one of Angua--her face is exactly as I've always pictured it. And the colored one of Vetinari and his aunt is wonderful.

Staying up late to do work is like a magic feeling. ;D

Your Reacher Gilt reminds me of Ratigan from The Great Mouse Detective. ;D

And the Discworld page is what you mean by the character page, right? Because I like it lots. Elegant and simple. :D

You should droo more.

Yup, this is what I plan to do with the character pages, and maybe the book pages as well because I am intoxicated by the ease with which I put it together. And it saves on bandwidth! There has got to be a catch here somewhere...

I had thought Reacher was sort of a combination of Ratcliffe (from Pocahontas) and Alameda Slim (Home on the Range) with the wig from Dustin Hoffman's Captain Hook from Hook. Now that you mention Ratigan, though, I'm sure he's got a lot to do with it, what with my Great Mouse Detective fixation.

Maybe one day the simple elegance will expand to enormous proportions and become the new minimalism. CATCHY.

Hee, Ratcliffe. When I learned the last name of the kid who plays Harry Potter, I was like "OMG EVIL" because it was Pocahontas that I associated the name with. And I adored The Great Mouse Detective. Sherlock Holmes, or in this case, Basil, is very much teh awesome.

I very much like this new way of indexing.
And I'm very glad it makes your life easier.

How's your coffee maker, by the way?

Haha, my coffee maker is fine, now that I make sure I'm awake enough to assemble it properly (which kind of defeats the puropse) ... mmm, coffee.

Your centering habit seems to work quite well because you've got spiffy fonts in pretty colors, I think. So exciting, new pages!
