With the [supposed] completion of work, I'm embarking on a bit of belated spring cleaning on my site. Updating email links, sorting the old "new" pictures onto the pages where they belong, and maybe eventually setting up categories for my Terra Extra Harry Potter stuff.

Yay, exciting.

12:04 pm
In revisiting my webpage, I thought I'd take the Hogwarts Sorting Test again...
Ravenclaw: 89
Hufflepuff: 83
Gryffindor: 56
Slytherin: 21

My Slytherin score used to be 19 – help! I'm slipping!

Your results?

2:51 pm
I had an idea:
For the pages sorted by character, would anyone seriously (or Siriusly, haha) kill me if I got rid of the whole table layout thing and just had a list of links to drawings that feature whatever character you're looking for? It would be so much easier to update and maintain, and would be much more throrough without having to take up so much space. The book-sorted pages would stay the same, with the drawings all laid out with captions, it's just the character-sorted ones that would change.

3:16 pm
I've made some updates to the Updates/In Progress section on the art index page of my site (the "website" link at the top of this page will take you there) detailing plans and also links to an area of my site that has kind of been cut off by development.

YAAAYYY!!!

Does this mean a "Goblet Project" or is that still up in the air???

Because More Terra Extra Potter = More Tealin's Delectable Severus Snape = Deedee's happy! :-D

No, chances of a "Goblet Project" are as slim as ever, unless some magical book-liking fairy comes along and fills me with inspiration on the subject.

And Terra Extra Harry Potter is the section devoted to everything that's not Potter-related*, so I'm afraid I have to quash your Snapely dreams. Sorry.

I took the test again: Hufflepuff 94, Ravenclaw 81, Gryffindor 75, Slytherin 9.
This makes me sad. It used to be Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Slytherin.... what does this all mean?

Goodness, is that test ever comprehensive. *eyes it with dismay* Er.

About your character page reformatting, I'm not sure I understand. As in how the links are displayed to the left when I click on one of the table-y things?

The way I have it set up now, there's a sort of menu thing on the left that will take you to the different characters and books, but the main body of the page is taken up by a big table with pictures and captions in it. What I'm proposing to do, with the Characters pages anyway, is to get rid of the pictures/captions layout and just give links to the image files containing a particular character. So, if you were looking at the Ron page, there'd be a list like:
Gazing despondently at his crystal ball
Looking at the bottom of his shoe
Eating slugs
etc.
And whenever you clicked on one, you'd go to that picture. The downside would be that you wouldn't have the captions anymore, but you could get the captions on the sorted-by-book pages ... see? Am I being terribly confusing? I think I'm starting to confuse myself and that's never a good sign.

Oh, no, I see! And I do like the idea; I noticed on some of the pages, the table is too short for the picture; as in they're going off the page. And perhaps the year, or at least relative age of the linked-to picture? I like the concept though, I say go for it!

(Incidently, I love your Terra Extra page. :D And The Iron Giant is the most amazing animated movie ever, YES. And is Silverwing ever showing in the US? Because I really really liked those books. xD; )

Yay! Maybe you can create a Discworld section--just for Discworld. J K Rowling is wonderful, but she never has quotable quotes about pins. Or spoons. Or socks.

Hufflepuff 85 - Ravenclaw 70 - Gryffindor 57 - Slytherin 22

I wouldn't mind if you changed your site layout. In fact, I think it's a good idea.

Do whatever's easiest for you. It'll probably be easier for us, too.

My results:

Hufflepuff: 80
Ravenclaw: 78
Gryffindor: 70
Slytherin: 20

I'll have to check to see what I got last time... Can't wait for updates to your page!

I think changing your layout for characters is a fantastic idea. It'll save you bandwidth and a lot of space. Also, it will make it easier when one is trying to find specifics - not that infamous Shrieking Shack scene containing every character known to man. And will you put in some sketches of characters that were in your blog here but not on your site? I still love your most recent Moody.
I'm hoping the next book will be project worthy. Me likey projects. XD

Once more I am a Ravenclaw, with Hufflepuff a close second. I lost the results themselves due to bad planning. Blame the back button.

DANG, that's a lot of Slytherin. I'm scared, guys. Ravenclaw dominates, just like the first time I took this quiz. The other houses have jumped around a bit.

Ravenclaw - 91
Gryffindor - 72
Hufflepuff - 71
Slytherin - 44

I did the Sorting, and promptly forgot my results, ah well, ce la vie. It is unfortunate that I can't speak or write French or that attempt at the language would have turned out much better.

I do know that my highest score was Gryffindor and that my lowest score was Slytherin, I guess I'm just not that ambitious.

I do like seeing your comments, they are very entertaining, but i agree it is difficult to find some of your artwork sometimes.
