So far they've all been incredibly boring, or tasted just like every other homemade curry I've ever had – which somehow, no matter what the recipe, manage to taste exactly the same, and unlike anything you'd get in a restaurant.
My family is very heavily into the curry eating scene and we eat/make a few really lovely ones. Would you like me to email you the recipes? You don't have to make them, just browse if you'd like.
I think this might have made a better movie than "Atlantis" (those litle glowing "Borbles" around everyone's necks turn out to be magic onions! Like in "Holes"! That's what keeps the natives so young! And protects them from enemies ("Aaaa - why am I crying? I can't see!(sob!)")"Saving the world with a better curry recipe...")Ok, maybe that's not so funny after all...

You know- they DID mention Iceland in there BTW. At work some of us more goofy people were trying to fool our coworkers with a fake press release about Iceland being offended at the way the movie portrayed at is being mistaken for Ireland.
Oh yeah - the BIG MYSTERY that has been plaguing mankind for centuries, finally solved - "we thought it translated to "Ireland", but ACTUALLY it was "Iceland"!" That was among the very lamest moments in what should have been an exciting, compelling, believable film (there were moments that were cool, but, as was mentioned, it turned out to be much less than the sum of its parts).But don't get me started!
Yes- I was having some trouble with that one, too especially if the countries were being called other names such as Ultima Thule for Iceland or Eire for Ireland.
Exactly - maybe I'm too hard on the film because there was such great promise, and so many talented people contributed so much, worked so hard on it - my disappointment was equal to or greater than my great expectations. (Un otre sigh...)
