Well, dead bodies (on TV or movies, anyway) always have sheets over them. That's how you can tell they're dead. As for the drapery, well ... I just ... thought about it? Lots of observational sketches give you a pretty good idea of the physics behind hanging cloth, and it's generally pretty easy to figure out once you know what's going on. The hard part is simplifying it, which I am becoming much less good at since I haven't had to keep anything simple for production purposes for quite some time.
I'm glad you think I've gotten better since May ... I feel like the last year has been like walking up a down escalator.
