Someone call Fermilab! I've gone back in time and done

More Holmes! (Obviously.) Some of them look like they came right out the pencil of [livejournal.com profile] salamandersoup. I really liked the thumbnail of Freaked Out Sherlock until I scanned it and realized it has a HIDEOUS TANGENT! Noooooooo! Tragedy. Perhaps I will perform surgery on it tomorrow, or perhaps I will continue my life of cowardice and leave it be.

I just woke up and have to go to class/work right now but I just thought I'd stop by a sec to SQUEAL GIRLISHLY!!! at you

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle WOULD be proud! He's always said Holmes should have a gargoyle apperance with his nose overhanging (and that Sidney Paget's Holmes was too handsome). As far as I judge, this fits the description perfectly and yet still maintains that spark of character capable of making me drool...

I will return to scream at you some more - later.

*backs out of the room slowly with a cape over half her face, eyebrows waggling*

If you get the chance, read The Seven-Per-Cent Solution - best Holmes fiction novel ever, after the original series.

Please - more Holmes! It brings me immense joy.

I just found your journal

Was doing a quick search on google images for severus snape, and I came across your wonderful little sketches of him.

I know this is offtopic, (to holmes).
I was also doing a bit of pixel art regarding harry potter images, you can see them here Harry Potter Dollmaker (http://elouai.com/chibi/harrypotter/icons.php)

Already finished my severus snape character, just did not upload him into the dollmaker yet.

take care,
- Lou

Fiction. Like 'fan' fiction or pastiche?

'Tis a legitimate novel written by Nicholas Meyer - but yes, it is indeed a pastiche of sorts. It goes into Holmes' cocaine addiction, and they meet Sigmund Freud.

WOW, I LOVE THESE!!! It's exactly like what runs through my head when I read them! Especially the one in the middle, where he's got that weirded-out, wide-eyed look XD If you ever feel like reading any of the stories, I would really highly recommend 'The Exploits of Sherlock Holmes', by Adrian Conan Doyle and John Dickson Carr. Some of my favorite Holmes stories come from that book! They're very similar to the original stories.

PLEASE keep this up! You've got me wanting to listen to the radio plays now! I would still recommend the Granada series as very inspirational, and, in my opinion, 'The Dancing Men' is not the best episode to see if you want to sample the series.

The one in the bottom left corner and the one right above it seem to have a Snape-ish quality about them, dating back to your Azkaban Project and Snape seemed to take on the Leonard Nemoy complex. I think it's the nose and the eyebrows. But I like Holmes with these expressions. I never really thought of Sherlock as old persay, so I like the look of intelligence with not too much age, if that makes any sense whatsoever.

PS. I'd kill for your talent.

I said I would post again. Here's my again post. It's useless for me to try and comment since I love all of them so much. I wish that you would bundle up a package of them in a nice resolution so I could make a wallpaper out of them (if you aren't inclined to make one, yourself). I am so pleased with your Holmes drawings and I seldom am pleased with any representation of Holmes since I've loved him for nearly twenty years and am highly protective of my mental image of him ;)
