Apr. 15th, 2005 04:58 pmI will now attempt divination, armed only with my common sense and deduction of past experiences.
I put the audio recording of Going Postal on hold at the library back in November, when I first saw it on the list. Its status is still "On Order," as it has been for the past five months. I am fairly certain that anywhere they'd have ordered it from would have delivered it by now, so it must actually be "To Be Ordered." Usually what prevents orders from being made is a lack of funds. Perhaps, once the book sale is over, there will be enough funds to order the things on their "To Be Ordered" list and maybe, just maybe, I'll get to listen to it before next Chrsitmas. Their last book sale was in October and it was shortly after that that The Grim Grotto on CD, which had been "On Order" since August, manifested itself in the catalogue.
I do hope Stephen Briggs does a really good job of reading lines because ... ooh, that would be too much to ask.
