Animation Assignment - Part I
Nov. 5th, 2006 09:46 pmI am making slow, slow progress on Disneyboy's animation assignment, but I have one thing to show for it, at last! A Klaus rotation! I may have gone a bit too far in modifying his proportions to be slightly more animation-friendly ... he looks about five years younger than he should here. I may modify it later. I'm not crazy about the back of the hair, and the pose looks a bit stilted in some of the angles ... But it feels good to have done something that exercised my long-dormant draughtsmanship muscles and got me flipping paper again.

Okay, now I've looked back a bit more, I'm definitely going to age him up a bit more. But this was fun.
(Oh, in case you're wondering about the accoutrements – the scene I'm doing is from the Hostile Hospital, that bit about 'a severe lack of moral stamina.' Hence the knife (which IS a Bowie knife, more or less) and the lab coat.)
