A handful of doodles, from when the BBC's Wind in the Willows originally aired, have been sitting in my sketchbook for weeks, waiting for me to work them up. I was pretty happy with my initial sketch of Ratty but I thought the other characters could do with a bit of work, so I managed a few Moles ...

None of these hands are big enough. )

... but hit a wall when I got to Badger; I couldn't seem to snap out of how I drew badgers back in the Redwall days of middle school. This was nonsense! I've since gained nearly thirteen years animation training and experience, AND Google Image Search, so no excuse – time to put in a little bit of work and bash out a halfway decent Badger.

It's nice to be making good use of my meeting time again. If only they'd leave the lights up more.
