To celebrate his knighthood, BBC 7 is running a whole slew of Pratchett radio plays, starting with Mort. I don't know how many of their collection will come down off the shelf in this round, but it's a chance to hear them if you haven't already.

Coincidentally (or perhaps not) they're also rerunning that Arthur C Clarke short story that has many interesting similarities to Thief of Time, All the Time in the World. It's only available till Saturday, folks, act now!

Also, speaking of BBC Radio, I discovered why I was missing all the good shows: they'd been hidden under the "Entertainment" category, and I had been looking in "Comedy". If you know how to work around the assinine new organization they have over there, let me know.

*ponders* I think I once heard a version of "All the time in the world" from an old radioshow.

Stupid BBCR7 question.

So. I know you're in the US, and I'm in the US, and I have real player installed like they tell me to, but nothing plays. What am I doing wrong?

I usually just sort by 'most recent' and work backwards ... Hah, apparently some comedy is not entertaining?

Could be any number of things ... these days you have to click on the 'play' button to get it going, which you didn't have to before, for one. Also check the volume on the player is up, sometimes it can be set independent of your computer volume and that messes things up. Other than that, um ... presumably by now you've restarted your computer at least once... you might try using a different browser if you haven't already. There might also be an iPlayer 'help' page somewhere.

There are some things I can only listen to on IE. Mostly US-based radio stations, but BBC works for me on FF.
