I am officially done on Frog. I handed in my last scene, have been removed from the mailing list, attributed my timecard to a different cost centre, and shaken hands with the associate producer. By Monday, the very last remaining scene in the film should be animated.

1. Yes – it's comfortable to draw on for long stretches of time as you aren't hunched over a flat surface, and the paper is more flat-on to your eyes so you don't have the foreshortening effect of a tabletop which might distort your drawings.
2. Sometimes? In features, there are far more animators than storyboarders so demand is higher and competition potentially less, but storyboarders have more opportunities for work in TV (which gets animated overseas) and live-action (which doesn't get animated at all).

We're pretty much done work too, the last bits are going to go to the regular workers as they actually need the job. I wish we could have done more, it's really fun.

And we're having a mini rap party at the beginning of August. The directors are going to come down. We are totally going to make them sign our frog poster :D *geek*

Haha, it's so true ... All I can think of doing at home is cooking (I haven't been able to cook for MONTHS!) and then there's all this food around that has to get eaten ... I'm going to get so fat. ;) Luckily I just stuffed my fridge with veggies from the farmer's market so there isn't any room for bad stuff.

on an unrelated note - you worked on "bolt", yeah? i know this is kind of a long shot, but do you happen to know nathaniel lane? he also goes by than. he's a friend of a friend and i heard he did some work on the film, but i'm not sure in what capacity.
