So back in the day, when I had nothing else to do (i.e. I was in high school, we only had dial-up, and I had to use the family computer), I was intimately familiar with my entire font collection, and knew pretty much off the top of my head which fonts I had and what they looked like.

Now, because I have lots of better things to do, and am not mentally capable of doing anything that requires actual brain cells until about 2pm, I decided to make a visible library of the ones I've got now, so I don't have to tick through them all in Photoshop when I'm trying to do some typography.

If I write out all my fonts, in a single-column list, size 12 Times New Roman, it is 21 pages long.

I would say I have a problem, except that it is not a problem at all.

Incidentally, if you're looking for some great typefaces that hearken to 1850-1940, THIS PAGE is a great place to start.
