Beautiful Burbank: The First 8

tealinEvery Lent I try to do something on my blog, either educational or personally edifying. I had a plan for this year but it was scuppered by the selective deafness of friends who have Les Misérables screener DVDs, so you will have to wait until next year for Tealin's Crash Course in Cinematography.
I was at a loss until a line from a recent conversation drifted back to me. I generally moan about boring ugly LA but I was challenged to find something beautiful about it, so that is what I shall do: one beautiful thing a day, and I'm not allowed to make any wry quip about it either. It feels somewhat like cheating because this is by far the prettiest time of year, but it means I have no excuse not to find forty beautiful things.
Of course, landing on this last Thursday was a little late, so for the first bit I'm going to double-up on daily photos to make up for lost time.
The plants on the right get ever so slightly more water.
