I remember Danger Mouse! And Count Duckula (which I haven't searched for on YouTube because I suspect that the awesomely hilarious vampire duck accidentally gets revived as a vegetarian and fails to live up to vampire tropes might not be as great as I remember it). And Land Before Time was an incredible movie and absolutely wonderful.
But it's funny some of the cartoons that I remember loving as a kid. I loved the animated Transformers movie, Rock and Rule (dystopian nuclear holocaust future where only dogs, cats and rats survive -- and an aging rock star wants to use an unknown singer's voice to raise a demon and rule the world -- 80s cartoons were weird) and Ulysees 31 (or something like that. Something futuristic where my local video store only had the one tape of three episodes and yet, I loved it and hired it many, many times). And The Last Unicorn and... oh, there was another one with dragons -- a war fought with dragons and kids being guided an old wizard.
The weirdest ones are the ones you only barely remember. Like, there was an anime movie where a boy and girl travelled back in time to see dinosaurs, but mostly what I remember was a gorgeous scene of one of the kids lying under a tree and looking up at dappled sunshine. I have this really clear visual memory of that, but I couldn't tell you what the story was about at all.
