For those following the Library/eBay race:

I just got an email this morning telling me my item has been shipped from the store in North Carolina. (Why are there so many used book stores in NC? I am jealous of you, Ubiquitouspitt!) It should be here in a couple of weeks, barring natural disasters, postal strikes, or the collapse of civilisation as we know it. Meanwhile, I am now at #11 on the library list! Patrons of this item seem to consistently return it before the due date, so there is still hope!

Stephen Fry is God. He reads with such wonderful precision and care, does the voices, seems to be enjoying it... there is nothing better than him reading Harry Potter. He was also a student of Latin (I'm certain he went to Grammar School so it was probably compulsory, but I think he studied it further) which means that he pronounces the spells as they should be, which is fab.

Also, he has the second most gorgeous voice in the world.
