I like Tony's description of it as being like the screenplay for a bad TV movie, complete with commercial breaks. (teehee) I'm sure it's at least entertaining, otherwise it wouldn't be so popular ... but I'm sure it's also pulp. Haven't read it, myself, though, so my criticisms are entirely second-hand...
