Thursday's Sketchbook - This is what yesterday's character is supposed to look like.

Watched War of the Worlds last night ... Most of it went like this:

ME: But dude, what about _____?
SPIELBERG: Hey, man, I have totally got that covered.

I would have liked to know more about the blood root things, which as far as I could tell were creepy but pointless. And ... were the tripod thingies alive, or machines? 'Cause if they were machines, how would they be affected by pathogens? Also: crows rule.

There were crows in the city at the end, just a couple shots of them, eating the red weed. They would so do that. If aliens invaded and started spraying large mammals across the countryside, crows would say 'WOOHOO!' (or caw the crow equivalent)

You are correct as usual, King Friday (or should I say S. Saturday?). BTW - as you probably already know - Burbank is THICK with crows. I see/hear them at work, at home throughout the day every day...crows...come for the crows...murders of glorious carrion-crunching cacaphonic croaking CROWS...!! You are getting very sleeeepyyyyy...caw...caw...
