Yesterday's sketchbook - I didn't want to draw yesterday either, but resolved to not just draw onions. There's a character based on someone I saw from the bus, a left-handed cat, and The New Day Is A Great Big Fish.

Where . . . ?

Does a Great Big Fish live?

... has my reply gone? I remember replying to this this morning. I said something along the lines of 'In Borogravia (hah, take that, obsessive punmeister!)'

But you are getting better, and closer too. Great Big, see, you ARE doing well!

I laughed at the fish drawing. Quite loudly. I startled the cat.

The look on the cat's face is like, "omgwtf?"

A fine, fine drawing day - loved that woman's design! Would like to see more of her! A left-handed cat???? You make me sick. Maybe you should start drawing with your feet for a real challenge. And the fish! I don't know if this is something you pulled out of thin air or yet another Terry Pratchet reference that I'm totally clueless about, but, either way, it's a perfect, very funny drawing!

Another obscure Terry Pratchett reference.

Good to see you back! I'll reply more, uh ... this weekend.

I love the Great Big Fish! At the moment, Monstrous Regiment ranks very highly on my "Favorite Books" list.

And that cat is excellent for being done left-handed.

How?

Can you tell if the cat is left handed? I mean, it is not like they can use tools or anything. And even if they were, wouldn't they be left-pawed?

For a while now I've really wanted a T-shirt with a New Day image much like that one!
