I just heard a snippet of A Christmas Carol on the CBC and was surprised to find I still had most of the opening memorized from when I was in a stage adaption of the show several years ago. Though I seem to remember there being some passage about a "coffin-nail" being the "deadest piece of ironmongery in the trade" which was left out of the one I heard.
