When I first heard this, completely by chance, I thought it was the single most brilliant arrangement of a medley ever ... I had no idea it was a daily thing. Go listen to it.

I absolutely adore Ralph Vaughan Williams - his music has this longing, aching bittersweet quality, interspersed with powerful, knock-you-out-of-your-seat otherworldly thrills and chills (much of Hodie) and lovely quiet, mysterious etherial passages - I can't get enough of his stuff (I sure can't make good music but I love hearing it! I must be English.)(and I am - as well as Scottish, Irish, and German)
I'm so excited - my dad, brother, cousin, and aunt will perform (along with a huge choir, not all by themselves) Carmina Burana in October - I hope I can make it out there for the concert!
