Storyboards - what I do all day
Simpkin - the name of a lesser sort of djinn thing in Bartimaeus which I'm reading when I have a moment here and there
Scientist, The - the Coldplay song curently on iTunes (there's a convenient coincidence)
Shanty for the Arethusa - The first song on Her Majesty by The Decemberists, whose 'la de dum' part is very similar to the one in 'My Mother Was a Chinese Trapeze Artist.' It starts with an ominous chord and a scream. Few songs are that cool.
Silly - Dead Ringers, That Mitchell and Webb Sound, The Skivers, The Consultants, I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue, Lee and Herring's Fist of Fun, etc etc.
Suburbia - where I grew up.
Syndrome - villain in The Incredibles and also a word in its own right. Significance for me? Dunno, but it popped into my head. I probably have a few syndromes...
Significance - A word I need to keep in mind when choosing 'S' words
S.M.K. - Good ol' buddy o' mine in North Carolina ... good grief, it took me this long to remember your name started with an S. I really am losing it.
Sanity - Someday I shall have to try this out to see why everyone's so crazy about it.

Er. It's been a while since I posted in here. I think someone taped over the 'Post on LJ!' switch. With masking tape or something, y'know, like when you paint? Walls, I mean. I'm going away now.

1. I- yes, it is a word. And because I’m pretty much the most selfish person I know, it really makes sense. ;)
2. Idiot- I consider most people to be idiots. I can’t tolerate about 99% of the people I interact with, especially at work.
3. Irony- I love irony; in literature, in real life… it’s such a great concept.
4. Ichthyophagous- Eating or subsisting on fish. Such an unknown word, Microsoft considers it misspelled! I am especially fascinated by words that I can’t pronounce.
5. Idaho- the most screwed-up state I’ve ever been to (I haven’t been to that many states though); it is also where my crazy relatives live. You know, the ones we all have that we try to avoid at all costs.
6. Idea- I’m the ideas person of my group. I always have to come up with clever things for us to do. It’s a bit annoying really. But I have other ideas too; I’m chalk full of ideas.
7. Illusions- to quote Gob on “Arrested Development”: “They’re not tricks Michael. They’re illusions. Tricks are what prostitutes do for money or cocaine.”
8. Impatient- What I am about 75% of the time.
9. Inquisition- “NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition! Our chief weapon is surprise...surprise and fear...fear and surprise.... Our two weapons are fear and surprise...and ruthless efficiency.... Our three weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency...and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope.... Our four...no...Amongst our weapons.... Amongst our weaponry...are such elements as fear, surprise....”
10. Insouciant- This is sort of a goal word. To be nonchalant and lighthearted. I’m trying my best.
