twirlynoodle: ...I always pictured Shadwell kinda scrawny but Moody, if not buff, then posessing a shadow of his former action hero self.
ubiquitouspitt: Moody with Kung Fu Eye Action

Thanks to a well-timed viewing of Muppet Christmas Carol, Mad-Eye Moody is, has been, and ever shall be Michael Caine in my head ... though here he looks a bit more like Billy Connolly. Probably 'cause he's being silly. And I have forgotten how to draw convincing impacts, if I ever knew.

Holy Crap!

THANK YOU. In a night of sheer misery due to studying for two impossible finals, you've managed to make me smile. Thank you.

Who drew these? They seem oddly familiar, but I can't place them.

Well, to be fair, it's a bit hard to make an impact look convincing when the impact taking place involves someone's kung fu eyeball.

I swear, I scrolled my flist, read the first two frames, scrolled down to read the third and went "Eheh HRRRMH" and nearly died of funny. :D

They should have cast Michael Caine. THEY SHOULD HAVE. Then it would have been all OK.

Michael Caine! I didn't even think of him when I was thinking about who could play Moody, but you're absolutely right! He'd be perfect!

This reminded of the MST version of Hamlet: King Claudius, with Kung Fu grip!

This made me laugh SO HARD. You have no idea. It's currently posted in my locker to make me smile when I'm snarly at the world.

Anywho, because you're awesome and I LOVEEEEE the expression on his face, I colored something for you. (The fact that I was also trying to think up a short story idea, and digital coloring is to me what minesweeper is to JK didn't hurt anything.)

Happy early Christmas, darling!!
