Any sort of attempt at review will have to wait till I've had some sleep and a bit of recovery time, but I would like to make the following public service announcement:

IF YOU FIND YOURSELF IN AN ENCHANTED PLACE, DON'T EAT THE FOOD.
Many, many cultures have this as part of their folklore. You only have to study a little bit of folklore to pick up on this. It is always a bad idea. No matter how hungry you are, or how delicious the food looks, or whatever, DON'T EAT IT.

Just something to keep in mind.

I know! Sheesh... it's not like holding your breath or something. Don't eat the food, and yet some idiot always has to go and think, "Weeeelll, one little pomegranate seed won't really -count-, will it?"
