Went out a-drawin' at Le Starbucks tonight, with a fellow animation artist (one who actually draws, forsooth!) which might be responsible for so many pages – was it a genuine right-brained loss of the track of time, or was it a subconscious endurance contest? Perhaps we shall never know. Anyway, if you feel like wading through pages of random passers-by, the Girl with Many Reading Poses, and the Man Who Talked to Himself for a Good Long While, click away.

I am not good at drawing people I know. Except for Ubiquitouspitt. But she looks like someone I'd draw anyway. And my main mode of reference is still photos.
Parkas are a great way to cheat.
Sneakers are designed by Satan, or at least someone who disregards all guidelines of anatomy and perspective.
Help; help; everyone I draw looks wholesome.
Why haven't I drawn more Coffee Pirates lately? Perhaps I shall try some in my attempt to fall asleep before 2 tonight.

Some really nice studies here, Tealin! All really nice and loose - I particularly like the last couple of pages, and the sassy customer leaning over the counter...very fun

I love the sassy customer on page ...5? Especially, though, I like the barista's look of bemusement. The studies on the last pages are just excellent. Cheers!

Thanks for the drawings.

They make a nice slice of humanity- I like seeing all the different races, ages, body types. Makes you realize just how many people come into a coffee shop in a given time. Have you ever done something like this at an airport or train station? (I guess after 9/11 it would be harder, but it is so interesting to see all the little stories taking place of partings and greetings).

awwwwee

hey hey, long time no first on your unlovely, as well as drawing loveliness, tee hee, anyway the dedicated male reader on the armchair looks a bit like sean haha with shorter hair, but my favorite goes to the frizzly haired walking girl, just really unique, but yet stereotypically enough drawn that i can really place a human image on her :), i think this is my favorite post by far, but simply cause i really like doodles, :) especially ridiculously tight and accurately drawn from the first line doodles :)

anyway enough ass kissing , now tell me how to fix my jedis arm :)

Your commentary is half the fun.

p.s. #5 is especially nice.

You are too good at drawing people! Pages 5 and 6 were exceptional. :]
