My Debt is Repaid
Mar. 27th, 2007 07:04 amYesterday's Sketchbook - And so, with this, I compensate for last week's neglect – just in time to fall behind again! Hooray!
This is the scene from Charles Augustus Milverton (With slight editing as per the radio play):
If you want to get Hooked on Holmes: This will take you to Charles Augustus Milverton and the BBC7 Radio Player. In the long list of shows, scroll down to 'The Return of Sherlock Holmes' and you will have four other shows to listen to. (C.A.M. was Friday's.) There's a new one every day and they last 7 days. If The Return... ends and a new series begins with a different name, the lovely continuity announcer will advise you of this.

"No, indeed!"
"You'll be interested to hear that I am engaged."
"My dear fellow! I congrat ----"

Date: 2007-03-27 07:06 pm (UTC)I realize it's necessary because it's radio, but I found it hilarious that Holmes and Watson talk through the entire burgalizing process. GREAT criminals they would make :P When my brother and I used to sneak around the house at night to watch Star Trek (on mute with subtitles), we developed a whole series of hand-signals so we wouldn't wake anyone up by talking.

Date: 2007-03-27 10:39 pm (UTC)I clicked before reading any of the text, and immediately Michael Williams' voice popped into my head when I saw the bottom-right picture. Just shows what a great likeness it is when I find that you *were*, apparently, listening to the BBC radio shows of Awesomeness! Very impressive.
