A sign of what? I don't know. So it's not a very effective sign. But it is a Sign nonetheless!

I saw this same moon a few nights ago and stopped to wonder at it as well. My friends were like "wtf its the moon" but I thought the way you could see the crescent shape and the rest of it at the same time were so cool.
